Mechanical seal principle
(1) Definition Mechanical seal is a shaft seal device used for rotating fluid machinery.It consists of at least one pair of end faces perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
Under the joint action of the fluid pressure and the elastic force (or magnetic force) of the compensation mechanism, as well as the cooperation of the auxiliary sealing ring, the pair of end faces remain close to each other and slide relative to each other, thereby preventing the fluid from flowing. Leaking device.
(2) Principle The shaft drives the moving ring to rotate through the sleeve, transmission seat and push ring, while the static ring is fixed. The sealing end faces between the moving and static rings are tightly fitted by relying on the medium pressure and spring force, preventing the leakage of the medium.
After the surface of the friction pair is worn, compensation is achieved under the push of the spring.In order to prevent the medium from leaking between the moving ring and the shaft, a moving ring sealing ring is installed; while the stationary ring sealing ring prevents the medium from leaking along the space between the stationary ring and the gland.
